Blooma for WOLF GORDON
This frenzy of florals is inspired by traditional Scandinavian shapes and native flowers, modernized into buoyant blossoms that Ghislaine “picked” for the design, evoking romance and whimsy alike.

Repeat Offenders for WOLF GORDON
The collection was inspired by vintage Wolf Gordon wallpapers and is a tongue-in-cheek comment on trends and their cyclical nature. We took a lot of inspiration from their 60s wallpapers, tweaking the designs to create a fresh take, wanting to breathe new life into a vintage collection.
A common thread between the the designs is creating a sense of comfort and pleasure derived from the circular form. We know how soothing the circular form can be, however it wouldn’t be telling our story if we didn’t shake things up a bit. We introduced linear aspects into each design to intersect or interact with the rounded forms. Subtleties within these conversations play a big role as well.
The colorways were inspired by the colors used throughout Wolf Gordon's archived collections of the 60s and 70s. There are a lot of subtle, more neutral colors, but we made sure to mix in a few pops of color.

Repeat Offenders is a winner of NYCxDesign 2020.
Repeat Offenders also won Interior Design’s Best of Year Award 2020.

HOLDING PATTERN
For Holding Pattern, we wanted to create something dynamic. Your eye moves through rounded shapes, follows linear pathways, only to end up trapped back in a different, yet similar, round shape. Its the embodiment of feeling like you’re stuck in a behavioral loop.  This is also the only digital pattern, meaning the color and scale customization options are endless, and we want people to have fun with it.

VICIOUS CIRCLE
Vicious Circle takes a hard look at the interaction between circles and lines, and what happens when they intersect and interact. Inspired by WG’s Cardinal Collection we created our own half circle and lined pattern in which everything is shifted just slightly off center. We wanted to play with the notion of the perfect circular form in an unexpected way.

TANGLED UP
We have always been drawn to stripes. After taking inspiration from the organic nature of WG’s Cypress Collection we created Tangled Up, our analog version of a classic stripe. We started with a hand sketch which we repeated to create a pattern, and the result was something softly linear; a very subtle stripe.
